Receiving an Abstract from SAE

The abstracts received by SAE in response to the published call for papers, and/or which the Program Chair believes are appropriate for your session, will be forwarded to you by the SAE staff representative. Please use the following process for these abstracts:

  1. Review the content of each abstract and decide if it is appropriate for your session.
  2. Reply to your SAE staff representative by indicating accepted, rejected, or referred to another session or meeting/conference.
  3. If you accept the abstract:
    1. Notify your SAE staff representative.
    2. Contact the author and invite the draft manuscript be sent to you for review.
    3. Inform the author that company clearances or approvals are to be completed for this submission.
    4. Inform the author that information concerning session participation and formatting the manuscript will be forthcoming from SAE.
  4. If you refer the abstract to another session:
    1. Notify your SAE staff representative.
  5. If you reject the abstract:
    1. Notify your SAE staff representative.
    2. Indicate reason(s) for rejection.
