Receiving an Abstract from SAE
The abstracts received by SAE in response to the published call for papers, and/or which the Program Chair believes are appropriate for your session, will be forwarded to you by the SAE staff representative. Please use the following process for these abstracts:
- Review the content of each abstract and decide if it is appropriate for your session.
- Reply to your SAE staff representative by indicating accepted, rejected, or referred to another session or meeting/conference.
- If you accept the abstract:
- Notify your SAE staff representative.
- Contact the author and invite the draft manuscript be sent to you for review.
- Inform the author that company clearances or approvals are to be completed for this submission.
- Inform the author that information concerning session participation and formatting the manuscript will be forthcoming from SAE.
- If you refer the abstract to another session:
- Notify your SAE staff representative.
- If you reject the abstract:
- Notify your SAE staff representative.
- Indicate reason(s) for rejection.
